Myanmar has generated 1.19 billion USD from the export of agricultural products in just under three months

According to the Ministry of Commerce, Myanmar generated 1.19 billion U.S. dollars from the export of agricultural products in the first nearly three months of the fiscal year 2024-25, as reported on Sunday.

During the period from April 1 to June 14 this year, this amount marked an increase from the 731 million dollars recorded in the corresponding period last year, based on data from the ministry.

The primary exports of the Southeast Asian nation include agricultural products, animal products, marine products, minerals, forest products, and manufacturing goods.

By June 14, Myanmar’s total exports had reached 2.9 billion dollars, according to the ministry.
